Naoko Takao, a native of Japan, enjoys an active career as recitalist, orchestral soloist, and chamber musician, in the United States and abroad. Since coming to the U.S. in 1984, she has received many awards and scholarships including the gold medal in the 2000 San Antonio International Piano Competition.
